SANDERS---In Scott township, August 20, 1880, Hannah Sanders, 
wife of the late William Sanders, aged 57 years, 7 months and 
26 days.
   Deceased was born in Columbiana county, Ohio, December 25, 
1821.  She was the mother of fourteen children, ten of whom 
are now living to mourn the loss of a good mother.  She 
joined the Lutheran church at the age of 16 and remained a 
member until her death.  The funeral took place from the 
Jones school house.  A large number of relatives and friends 
were present.  Elder Hickmott officiated.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

   Hannah (____) Sanders, obituary states she was born 25 Dec 
1821 but if the information on years, months and days is 
correct, the birthdate calculator states date of birth is 15 
Dec 1821 - 20 Aug 1880.  She married William Sanders, 11 Sep 
1813 - 02 Mar 1879.  They are buried at Fremont Cemetery, 
Steuben County, IN.  

   Daughter, Catherine Sanders, 20 Aug 1840 - 02 Aug 1875, 
aged 34 years, 11 months and 13 days, is buried at Fremont 
Cemetery.
   The 1880 United States census lists B. Ida Sanders, 
daughter, age 20.  Also lists Allen Sanders, son, age 18, who 
is listed in the cemetery book, 1862 - 1945, buried at Circle 
Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, IN.
