                            THEOPHILUS RITTER
 "Theophilus Ritter, son of Phillip and Martha Gillander Ritter, was born
March 15th, 1862, in Steuben Township, Steuben County, Indiana, where most of
his life was spent.  He departed this life Jan. 25, 1939.  He leaves to mourn
his passing, one brother, Elmer, two sisters, Lovina and Orpha and a half
brother, Jacob, and many relatives and friends.  The funeral services were
held at the Klink Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock on Friday, January 27th with
Rev. N.E.Smith, officiating.  Burial in the Mount Zion cemetery."
