William Killinger
Sudden Death - We are pained to chronicle the sudden death in our midst,
of William Killinger, son of Godliep Killinger, of this place. The
deceased had been subject to fits from infancy, and is supposed to have died
while thus attacked. This (Thursday) morning at an early hour, his
sister went to his room for the purpose of waking him. He made no answer,
but turned over on his side. At a little after six o’clock the
deceased’s mother, fearing something wrong, went to his room, and after
calling his name several times without receiving any answer, went to his
bed, but only to find the lifeless remains of him whose sufferings had for
so many years made him an especial charge upon her mind and affections.
The deceased was about 26 years of age, and leaves many relatives and friends
to mourn his sudden demise.
