ROBERTA ‘BERT’ ANN KELLER

Roberta Ann Keller, 76, of Montpelier, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.

Born Nov. 10, 1931, at Metz, Ind., she was the daughter of Lois M (Goudy) and Weir A. Williams.

A resident of Williams County for most of her life, she retired from Mohawk Tool in Montpelier in 1991 after 23 years as a machine operator.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four sons, Joe (and wife, Brenda) Keller of Edon, and Greg L. Keller, Jeff (Laura) Keller and Alan (Teresa) Keller, all of Montpelier; two daughters, Angelia R. Simpson and Shanon (and husband, Bill) Strauss, both of Montpelier; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one step grandchild; two sisters, Mary Mills of Lake City, Fla. And Esther Blansit of Fremont, Ind.; and a brother, Tom Williams of Metz, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bob in 1992, four brothers, Don, Wendell, Roger and Weir Jr.; and two sisters, Io Kuhn and Alice Wilson.

Visitation was Friday, April 11, from 2-8 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home-Montpelier.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert W. Damschroder officiating.

Interment will be at Metz Cemetery, Metz, Ind.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
