Rites Friday For
Ira S.
Kannel, 67
Funeral
services for Ira S. Kannel, 67, of Toledo and Lake James, Indiana who
died
Tuesday morning in St. Luke’s Hospital in Toledo, will be conducted
Friday
afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Church of Christ in Angola where he was
an active
member.
Mr. Kannel, who was sales supervisor for the Heckman Biscuit
Co., was stricken Tuesday en-route home from Detroit where he had
attended a
sales meeting.
He was born in Covett, Ohio and he, his family resided
south of Montpelier; on a farm for many years before they moved to
Toledo 14
years ago.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis, son, Ira S. of
Montpelier; and Jerold of Angola; three daughters, Mrs. Priscilla King
of
Charlotte, Mich.; Mrs. Connie Morgan of Los Angeles and Mrs. Judy Greer
of
Joplin, Mo., and eight grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Ansberg-West Funeral Home in
Toledo and today was transferred to Angola to Weicht where friends may
call.
Richard Burton minister of Angola Church of Christ and
Thomas W Overton of Toledo Church of Christ will officiate at the
services. Burial
will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola.
