	Died in Springfield, LaGrange County, February 4, 1892, 
Mrs. Edward L. Johnson, aged 27 years, 9 months and 25 days. 
Cora Humphreys was born in Ohio, April 9, 1864. She moved to 
Allen County, Indiana, in 1876, and in 1880 she came to 
Steuben County. She was married to Edward L. Johnson in 
February, 1883. She leaves a husband, brother, and other 
relatives to mourn her early departure. By her death three 
small children, too small to realize their loss, are left 
motherless. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church in 
Orland, conducted by Rev. M. Turk, and she was laid to rest in 
the Jackson Prairie Cemetery.
