STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1903, page 1, column 6 MARY MARIA (HAND) JACKSON, 20 Mar 1848 - 25 Feb 1903 Mary M. Hand, daughter of Job and Mabel Hand, was born near Cleveland, Ohio, March 20, 1848, and died at her home in Angola, Feb. 25, 1903, aged 54 years, 11 months and 5 days. Deceased came with her parents to Metz, Ind., when but a babe and here grew to womanhood. May 3, 1868, she was married to Isaac Jackson, and to this union five children were born, four of whom with the husband and father, survive her. One brother and five sisters also mourn her death. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Christian church at Metz and lived a life in harmony with her profession. She was faithful to her home and loyal to friends-a character of genuine worth. Isaac's 2nd wife was Millie Elizabeth (Halstead) Kellogg Wheaton Jackson, 11 Jul 1847 - 07 Nov ____, buried at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. CHILDREN: Frankie Jackson, 20 Nov 1875 - 08 Dec 1876, buried at Circle Hill Cemetery. Glen R. Jackson, 1888 - 1959, married Eva Mae (Wirick) Jackson, 31 Aug 1891 - 24 Dec 1975, daughter of Elmer and Mary (Mallory) Wirick. Glen and Eva are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery. POSSIBLE DAUGHTERS: Eva May (Jackson) Coe, 1873 - 09 Feb 1962, on 17 Jun 1893, married Bert Coe, 1871 - 1947, buried at Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Evelyn Louise (Jackson) Ramsey, 1878 - 1968, married Calvin Howe Ramsey, 1876 - 1964, buried at Circle Hill Cemetery.
