OBITUARY
John Henry Hufnagle, son of Thomas and Louisa Hufnagle, was born in
Dauphin County, Pa. July 30th 1841. Departed this life March 27, 1925, aged
83 years, 7 months and 27 days.
He came to Steuben County in 1865. He
was united in marriage to Addie
Whitney, Nov. 29, 1882, who preceded him in death ten months and six days
before.
To their union was born four children;
Nellie, who died at the age of
7 weeks, Boydia, of Fremont, at whose home he was cared for and passed away,
Vern of Fremont, and Mrs. Hattie Easterline, of Coldwater, Mich.
Nine grandchildren, two sisters, Mary
Hardenbrook of Coldwater, Mich.,
and Annie Cobb of East Fremont, Ind., two brothers, Richard Hufnagle of
Fremont, Ind., and Thomas Hufnagle of Lansing, Mich., and a host of relatives
and friends survive him.
His father, mother two sisters and two
brothers preceded him in death.
