EMMA LUCILE (STAYNER) HEDGLIN, 17 Apr 1889 - 24 February 1978 Lucile Hedglin, 89, of Hudson died Friday, February 24, in the LaGrange County Hospital where she had been a patient six days. She had resided in the Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Homer in LaGrange three years. She was born April 17, 1889, and was married April 17, 1906, to Henry Arthur Hedglin. He preceded her in death. Surviving are five sons, Wayne of LaGrange, Raymond of Lawrence Mass., Winn of Linwood, Mich., Frank of Havenhill, Mass., and Max of Jefferson City, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Roland (Orpha) Foster of DeLamb, Fla., Mrs. Laflin (Dorris) Collinge of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Angus (Roberts) Mac Donald of Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Oliver (Lorraine) Stutzman of Nappanee; 26 grandcdhildren and 50 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Kistler Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Arthur Givens officiating. Burial was in the Jackson Prairie Cemetery in Orland. She was the daughter of James Oliver Stayner, 29 Oct 1862 - 09 Jan 1939, and Nellie Helen ((Davis) Stayner, 11 May 1866 - 15 Apr 1938. They are all buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, Indiana. Henry was the son of Ephriam and Lizzie (Coe) Hedglin who are buried at Flint Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
