JANE LUCILE (WAITER) SMURR HARMAN, 01 Apr 1911 - 31 Aug  1987

   June Lucile Harman, 76, Angola, died Monday at Carlin Park 
Healthcare Center.  She was born in Flint to Clarence C. and 
Oda E. Mercer Waite.
   Surviving are one daughter, Phyllis Ott, Angola, one 
brother, Robert Waite, Angola, and three grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul J. 
Smurr in 1971; her second husband, Ford L. Harman in 1986; 
and one daughter, Ramona Johnson in 1979.
   Graveside services were held this morning at Flint 
Cemetery with the Rev. J. Glenn Radcliffe officating.  
Memorials may be made to the Steuben County Cancer 
Association or Steuben County Humane Society.
   Arrangements were by Weicht Funeral Home, Angola.

   Jane Lucile (Waite) Smurr Harman, 01 Apr 1911 - 31 Aug 
1987, was the daughter of Clarence C. Waite, 25 Aug 1880 - 
1969, and Oda E. (Mercer) Waite, 1892 - died before 04 June, 
1969.  Jane's 1st husband was Paul J. Smurr, 28 May 1909 - 
Apr 1971, son of Floyd and Goldie (Cosner) Smurr.  Jane, her 
parents and 1st husband were all buried at Flint Cemetery, 
Steuben County, Indiana.  Her 2nd husband, Ford L. Harman, 27 
May 1905 - 23 Jun 1986, was the son of "Ed" Lafayette and 
Susan (Kratzer) Harman.  Ford's 1st wife was Rolene E. 
(Grove) Harman, 1908 - 1952.  Ford was buried at Circle Hill 
Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.

SIBLINGS:

   Robert C. Waite, 28 Jun 1918 - 27 Oct 1992, on 26 Apr 
1941, married Betty (Sams) Waite, no dates.  They were buried 
at Flint Cemetery.
   Three sisters are mentioned in the obituaries of her 
mother, Oda E. Waite, and her brother, Robert C. Waite:
   Mrs. Mildred Powers of Butler, Indiana.
   Mrs. Evelyn Watts of Union, Michigan.
   Mrs. Betty Porter of California.
