Irene E. Harman, 89, Angola, died Thursday at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital.
She was born April 20, 1905, in Delmar, N.Y., to Robert and Christina Henney Widdicombe.
Mrs. Harman formerly worked for Steuben Printing Co. She was a member of Angola United Methodist Church and the churches' women's guild, and the Kum As U R Extension Homemaker's club. She was also a volunteer with the Steuben County Red Cross.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Wood of Toluca Lake, Calif., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harman was prededed in death by her husband, Hugh, on June 11, 1968. Also preceding was one daughter, Marilyn Fisher, who died on Aug. 3, 1990, one brother, and four sisters.
Services were held Monday at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, with the Rev. James Butler officiating. Burial was in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola.
Memorials may be made to the Steuben County Red Cross or the church.
