STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1901, page 1, column 8 FLORA (CHASEY) HARMAN, 25 Nov 1866 - 30 Oct 1901 Mrs. Worthy Harman Dead Last Thursday Morning, Charles Harman, of W. C. Patterson's store, received the sad intelligence that the wife of his brother, Worthy Harmon, of Luther, Michigan, had died Wednesday, and that the remains would arrive in Angola on Friday for interment. The funeral occurred on Saturday, Nov. 3, 1901, (the funeral was either Sat., Nov. 2, or Sun., Nov. 3) at the Mt. Zion church southwest of Angola, and the burial in the cemetery hard by, Rev. A. G. Neal, of the Angola M. E. church, officiating. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chasey, southwest of town, and was married to Mr. Harman in September, 1900, and then went to Michigan to live. She leaves a father, mother, husband and infant daughter to mourn her departure to the great unknown. She was 34 years, 11 months and 5 days old. The bereaved husband and parents have the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The last name may also be spelled HARMON. For these purposes it will be spelled Harman. Flora (Chasey) Harman, 25 Nov 1866 - 30 Oct 1901, was the daughter of Joseph G. (18 Mar 1836 - 08 May 1916) and Adaline (Freed) Chasey (1846 - 1916). She married Worthy Ellsworth Harman, 05 Dec 1866 - 25 Aug 1952, son of William Henry Harman, 26 Jun 1838 - 30 Sep 1895, and Eliza (Teegardin) Harman, 06 Oct 1839 - 21 May 1905. They are buried at South Scott Cemetery, Steuen County, Indiana. Flora is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. Worthy is buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana. Daughter: Esther M. Harmon, 26 Apr 1901 - 14 Apr 1908, buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery. SIBLINGS OF FLORA: Lydia M. Chasey, 03 Feb 1870 - 09 Jul 1907. Otis P. Chasey, 13 Sep 1876 - 24 Aug 1877, age 11 months and 11 days. Gertrude Chasey, 15 Oct 1878 -= 15 Jan 1880, aged 1 tear and 3 months. Infant, died in 1880, buried between Gertrude Chasey and Flora Harmon. The Chasey family is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Possible brother: Ottomar W. Chasey, 1874 - 17 Dec 1955, married Geneva Deller, 1879 - 20 Oct 1961. They are buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Possible sister: Ida A. (Chasey) Klink, 1868 - 14 Jun 1939, on 12 May 1892, married Ernest G. Klink, 1872 - 09 Dec 1929. They are buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
