The funeral of Mrs. John Hanselman, who died Monday will take place to-day from the South Scott church.  The deceased was a sister of Henry and John Kankamp, of this city.

 

 

 

 

PIONEER WOMAN DIES IN STEUBEN COUNTY

 

 

ANGOLA, Ind., June19.-Margaret Kankamp Hanselman died Monday afternoon at the family home in Otsego township, aged sixty-six years, one month and thirteen days.  Deceased was born in Germany and at an early age moved with her parents to America, and has lived most of her life in Steuben county.  She was married September 7, 1862, to John C. Hanselman, and to them were born five children, two of whom preceded the mother in death.  The three surviving sons are Bart, Morton and Clarence Hanselman and together with the husband and father are left to mourn.  The funeral will take place at 1:30 pm Wednesday from the South Scott church.  Elder Vernon Stauffer officiating.
