STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1903, page 3, column 5 WILLIAM GRUBB, ab. 11 Mar 1833 - 13 Nov 1903 William Grubb, son of John and Mary Grubb, born in 1833; died at his home in Clear Lake township, Steuben county, Ind., Nov. 13, 1903, aged 70 years, 8 months and 2 days. Deceased was born in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire, England, and came to Richland county, Ohio, in 1842, and later to Steuben county, Ind. Was married to Sarah Perkins in 1859, and to this union were born five children, two now living. Deceased was one of seven children, five sisters and one brother. Grubb, 1869 - 1915, married Mary Ethel (Dotts) Grubb, no dates. They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery in the same plot as William, Sec. 4, Lot 3. William's parents: John Grubb, no dates, and Mary N. (_____) Grubb, who died 01 Feb 1881, aged 71 years, 3 months and 28 days. Mary is buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Sec. 2, Lot 8. John's burial place unknown. Possible sister of William: Mary G. (Grubb) Dygert, 1843 - 1928, married John Dygert, 27 Feb 1826 - 18 Sep 1919.
