        RHODA E. GLEASON              ( 19 May 1850- 9 June 1928 )

        Rhoda E. Gleason, daughter of Porter and Amy Gleason, was born in
Steuben
County, Indiana, May 19, 1850, and died at her home in Eureka, California,
June 9, 1928, aged 78 years and 21 days.  She made her home in Steuben
County until she went to Illinois where she taught school.  From there she
went to the state of Washington, later going to California, where she lived
the remainder of her life.  She leaves of her immediate family one brother,
W.B. Gleason, of Chehalis, Washington.
