MARY GILBERT

	Died, Jan. 16, 1885, Mrs. Mary Gilbert, aged 89 years, 10 months and five days. Deceased was born in Adams county, Penn.,
	and moved to this county in 1852.  Her husband died in 1861.  She was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive 
	her.  At an early age she united with the German Lutheran church of which she was a consistant (sic) member for over 
	forty years.  After moving to this state she united with the U.B. church.  We can say of her that she was a kind mother 
	and of a generous disposition, never allowing those around her to suffer for wants she could supply.
