MARILYN FISHER - MICHIGAN CITY NEWS-DISPATCH - AUGUST 1990

NEW CARLISLE - Marilyn J. Fisher, 59, New Carlisle, formerly of Michigan City, died at 6 a.m.
Friday [August 3, 1990] at her home.
The funeral will be at noon tomorrow [Monday] at the Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m. and
tomorrow until the time of service.
Mrs. Fisher was born April 26, 1931, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Hugh and Irene (Widdecombe
[sic]) Harman. Her mother survives and lives in Angola, Indiana.
On Jan. 14, 1951, in Angola, she married Richard Fisher, who died January 14, 1984.
Surviving are one daughter, Christine Copple of Toledo, Ohio; three sons, R. Craig Fisher of
Chicago, Douglas Fisher of Chicago, and Davis [sic] Fisher of Kalamazoo, Mich.; five
granddaughters; and a twin sister, Patricia Wood of Toluca Lake, Calif.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Michigan City.

Irene Harman's maiden name was spelled Widdicombe.
Marilyn's youngest son's name is David Scott Fisher.
