From a newspaper obituary clipping for Mrs. George Deller from the estate
sale of Dessa Mae (Sunday) Wolf 25 Nov 2000

                     Mrs. George Deller
"Mrs. George H. Deller was the seventh of a family of fourteen sturdy sons
and daughters.  She was born in Columbiana county, Ohio, October 9, 1843.
She came to Steuben county, Indiana, in young womanhood.  On March 23, 1865,
she was married to George H. Deller, and shortly thereafter, they moved to
their farm, four miles west of Pleasant Lake, on which they lived for nearly
sixty years of strenuous farm life.  To them were born five children, this
family circle remaining unbroken until about seven years ago when Nettie
passed on.  In May, 1923, Mr. Deller passed to his reward.  This leaves two
sons and two daughters: Myron, of Fremont; Ila Weaver and Maud Sunday, of
Pleasant Lake, and William, of Wimmer, South Dakota. Besides these there are
eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In early womanhood, Mrs. Deller was converted and united with the United
Brethren church.  Those who knew her have no doubt of her loyalty to her
Lord, and to the church. She reveled in the fact of a personal Christian
experience, and faithfully practiced the Christian graces. In her final
illness a clear expression of an abiding faith was often repeated; it was not
perfunctory, but a real basic faith that thus sustained her through pain and
suffering.  There is no doubt that an abundant entrance into the heaven of
rest has been hers already.
The funeral was held at Mount Zion church on Thursday afternoon, April 2,
and the interment was in the Mt. Zion cemetery, Rev. D. Corl, officiating."
