                           NANCY FREED DECKMAN
 "Nancy Freed Deckman, daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Freed, was born in
Stark County, Ohio, September 14, 1855; departed this life at the home of
Glenn Dennison, Montgomery, Mich., February 2, 1929, age 73 years, 4 months,
and 18 days.
 At the age of five years she came with her parents to Steuben county,
Indiana, where she has resided all her life, except the past three months of
her illness, where she was cared for at the home of Glenn Dennison.
 May the 25, 1894, she was united in marriage to Henry Deckman.  She leaves
to mourn her departure, her husband, two brothers, David and Joseph Freed,
Pleasant Lake, Indiana; her parents, four sisters and four brothers have
preceeded her to the great beyond.
 The funeral was conducted from the Mt. Zion church near Pleasant Lake;
interment in cemetery near by.  Rev. F.F. DeGroff pastor of Hudson,
officiating."
