TIM CULVER
ANGOLA - Tim D Culver, 60, of
Angola, died Saturday
at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola.
Mr. Culver, a graduate of Angola
High School, moved
back to the Angola area about six months ago. He
previously lived in
Hartford City.
He worked as a pharmacist for Hook's
Drugs and
retired in 1994. He belonged to the Presbyterian Chapel of
the Lakes,
Angola, and the First United Presbyterian Church in Hartford
City. He was
a member and past master of the Hartford City Masonic Temple No.
106; a member
of York Rite and Scottish Rite, Valley of Fort Wayne; a member
of the Mizpah
Shrine Temple; a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon; and a member
of the
Blackford County Express, the Blackford County Shrine Club and
the Past Master
Unit of Hartford City.
Mr. Culver also was a member of the
Pokagon Shrine
Club, the Angola Elks Lodge and the Angola Moose Lodge. He
was the former
president of the Hartford City Council.
He was born Oct. 5, 1938, in Angola
to the late
Donald and Dorothy (Zimmerman) Culver.
On May 2, 1964, he married Lana
(Pursley) Culver,
who survives at home.
Also surviving are a son, Jeff
Culver of
Indianapolis; a daughter, Julie Smith of Fremont; a brother,
Tony Culver of
Angola; and a granddaughter, Haley Smith of Fremont.
Services are planned for 11 a.m.
Saturday at the
First United Presbyterian Church in Hartford City, starting with
a Masonic
service, with Pastor David Smith officiating, and 4 p.m. Sunday
at the
Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes, starting with a Moose service,
with the Rev.
Thomas Smith officiating.
Friends may call one hour before
services.
Arrangements are by Weicht Funeral Home, Angola.
Memorial donations may be made to
the Shrine
Children's Hospitals and the Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes
memorial garden.
