CLINE- Elva Mary


Elva Mary Cline youngest daughter of Alexander and Mary Baker Halstead,
was born in Steuben county, Indiana, May 18, 1890; died at her home in
Battle Creek, Michigan January 8, 1919, aged 28 years, 8 months, and 21
days. She was united in marriage to Arthur Cine, of Battle Creek,
September 7, 1910. This union was blessed with four children. In
February 1905 she obeyed the Lord in baptism and became a member of the
Christian church in Angola. Her departure is mourned by her faithful
husband, four children, Wendell, Wayland, Mary Lorraine, and Elva
Maurine, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Halstead, one sister, Mrs. Orpha
Bowerman of Branch county, Michigan. Many friends in Battle Creek and
Steuben county mourn with her sorrowing relatives. Private funeral
services were held at the home by Rev. T. Spencer Cleaver. Burial at
Youngs cemetery.
