HALBERT EUGENE BURCH
           Halbert Eugene Burch, son of Halbert C. and Mary Rinehart
Burch, was born April 9, 1863 in Otsego township, Steuben county,
Indiana and passed away November 9, 1941 in Jackson, Michigan.
           He was united in marriage to Mary Luella Dunham in December
1884, who preceded him in death on January 27, 1915.
           To this happy couple was born two sons, John M. of Fremont
and Ross M. of Jackson, Michigan who survive him together with 13
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who mourn their loss.
           Eugene was a respected and loyal man among his friends and
neighbors and ever willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
           Funeral services were held at Jackson, Michigan on
Wednesday Nov. 12 conducted by Rev. G. S. Harrington and Judges 4 and
536 I.O.O.F.  Burial was in Circle Hill Cemetery at Angola where he
was laid to rest by the side of his devoted wife.
