WARREN BECKER
HUDSON - Warren F. Becker, 82, of
rural Hudson,
died at 6 a.m. today in his residence.
He was born in Noble County Aug. 19,
1910, to Elmer
and Kathryn (Lybarger) Becker. On Sept. 23, 1940 in DeKalb
County, he
married Leona Prentice, who survives.
Mr. Becker, a rural Hudson resident
for 42 years,
was a retired farmer. He was also a Salem Township trustee
for 25
years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church,
rural Hudson,
and former member of the Steuben County Board of Soil and Water
Conservation,
and a charter member and one who helped organize the Sheltered
Workshop in
Angola.
Surviving with his wife are a
daughter, Phyllis
Casselman of Kendallville; five sons, Floyd Becker of Fort
Wayne, Lloyd Becker
of Charleston, S.C., Wayne Becker of Pleasant Lake, Jim Becker
of Kendallville,
and Dennis Becker of Hudson; a sister, Ruby Kuckien of Fort
Myers, Fla.; a
brother, Kenton Becker of Pleasant Lake; 18 grandchildren; and

great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30
a.m. Saturday in
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, rural Hudson, with the Rev.
Wayne Rutz and the
Rev. Alan Kuboy, grandson of Mr. Becker, officiating.
Burial will be in
Prince of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1:30-8:30 p.m.
Friday in Johnson
Funeral Home, Hudson.
Preferred memorials are to the
Prince of Peace
building fund or CompreCare Home Health of Kendallville.
