NORTH JUDSON — Howard W. Reed, Jr., 32, of North Judson, died at Starke Memorial Hospital Friday, Dec. 25.
He is survived by his parents: Debra (Howard) Reed of North Judon, fiancee Kimberly Manns of North Judson, daughter Samantha Reed of Culver, and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 29 from 4 p.m. until the time of services at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel.
Services are at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Jeff Little officiating.
Midwest Cremation Center will handle burial.

KNOX — Lillian N. Rodgers, 93, of Knox, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 in her home. Mrs. Rodgers was born Dec. 24, 1915 in Aldine, Ind. to Edward and Nellie (Kaluf) Nulf and lived in the area all of her life. On March 7, 1946 in Knox, she was married to Donald Rodgers who preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons: D. David and Guy Rodgers; two brothers: David and Paul Nulf; and two grandchildren: Brett and Dana Rodgers.
Survivors include: one son, Leslie Rodgers of Knox; one daughter, Lauralee (Audie) Gates of Knox; one brother, Clarence Nulf of LaPorte; 15 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rodgers was a tax preparation accountant for Rodgers Tax Service. She was the first woman on the Knox Community School Board, the first woman on the Starke County Election Board, serving many years, the Secretary for Mutual Agents Association of Indiana, Precinct Committeewoman for Washington Township and was a member of Eagle Creek Church of Knox, where she taught Sunday School.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. (Central Time) at Eagle Creek Church of Knox. Burial will be in the Eagle Creek Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. CST at the church and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Mission for Haiti, through the church.
Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, is handling the arrangements.

HAMLET — Robert L. Ruggles, 41, died June 11, 2009 at Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox.
Survivors include two daughters: Breanne Ruggles and Rebecca Ruggles, both of Hamlet; his parents, Larry and Judith Ruggles of Hamlet; and one sister, Joan Piedmonte of Goshen, Ky.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. (Eastern Time) at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton.
Memorial contributions may be given to Tracy United Methodist Church. Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, is handling arrangements.

KNOX — Rachel M. Rupert, 46, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2010 in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty (James) Toney of Knox; son, John (Charlotte) Rupert of Knox; five grandchildren; her mother, Betty Rupert of Winamac; sisters: Mary Fletcher of Winamac, Kathy Hurt and Rita Rupert, both of Van Wert, Ohio, Julie Rupert of Houston, Texas, and Robin Boulie of Mo.; and brothers, J. Rupert of Wheatfield and Thomas Rupert of Van Wert, Ohio.
Visitation will take place a from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Central Time) Thursday, Sept. 16 at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
Funeral services take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery, North Judson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
