| Marijo Dickson, 80, of New Castle, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at

Born Aug. 22, 1923, she was the daughter of Harry and Lena Tumilty, both deceased. She married Francis Roscoe Dickson Dec. 20, 1941; he survives. Mrs. Dickson was a homemaker. She had worked for several years as a waitress at the Durbin Hotel in Rushville. Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Becky Small of Ocala, Fla., and Sandy (Mrs. Mike) Moore of New Castle; four sisters, Betty Ridout of New Castle, Patty Sipes of Knightstown, Norma Jones of Anderson, and Vickie (Mrs. Joe) Herrman of Rushville; three brothers, Bill Tumilty (and wife Marty) and Jerry Tumilty (and wife Jenny), both of Greenfield, and Harry Tumilty Jr. (and wife Lila) of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Marcum-Troxell Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery near Mays. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are requested to the D.I.V.E. children?s care program in care of Foursquare Gospel Church. |
