| James J. Finan Jr., 82, of Muncie, formerly of Rushville an
Greenwood, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004.
|
Born Sept. 26, 1922, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of James and Sadie (Bingham) Finan, both deceased. He married Mary Mae Flynn July 23, 1949; she preceded him in death May 8, 2002. Mr. Finan was retired from Ford Aerospace in Connersville where he had worked for 30 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church and a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include one son, James J. Finan III of Fishers; three daughters, Mary Ann (Mrs. Mike) Beard of Rushville, Patricia (Mrs. Donald) Guize of North Tonawanda, NY, and Nancy Finan of Muncie; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded by five brothers and one sister. etc A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, with Msgr. Harold Knueven and the Rev. Bill Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Rushville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's School Foundation, 818 S.
