Freida Clapp, 54, of Carthage, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004 at Community
East Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born April 4, 1950 in Rushville, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Phyllis (McCarty) Frazier Sr. She married Charles "Dave" Clapp Aug. 17, 1968; he survives. Mrs. Clapp lived her early years in Milroy and most of her life in Rushville. She was a 1968 graduate of Rushville High School. She worked for 17 years at Servaas Labs in Indianapolis, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Rushville Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors in addition to her mother and husband include two daughters, Christal Clapp of Rushville and Heather Clapp of home; one son, Charles L. Clapp of Rushville; two brothers, Walter Frazier of Sexton and LeRoy Eugene Frazier Jr. of Rushville; three sisters, Sandy (Mrs. Leon) Bostic, Melissa Frazier and Penny (Mrs. Frank) Hensley Jr., all of Rush County; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with Major Butch McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in East Brook Cemetery in Milroy. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. |
