Frances Bush, 87, of Bloomington, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center. Born Feb. 12, 1915, in Carthage, Mo., she was the daughter of Shelby and Susie (Butts) Roberts, both deceased. She married Noble Bush; he preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Bush was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington, where she taught Sunday School and was very involved in the Missions Society. She also conducted Bible studies at several nursing homes in the area. Survivors include four sons, Bill (and wife Linda) of Winchester, John (and wife Carol) of Bedford, Tom (and wife Rita) of Ellettsville, and Jim Bush (and wife Barb) of Vincennes; two daughters, Sally (Mrs. Tom) Schreck of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Brenda (Mrs. Barney) McFadden of West Milton, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington, with Dr. James Hicks officiating. Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to World Mission Society in care of First Church of the Nazarene.
