Victor E. Brewer, 89

Victor E. Brewer, 89, of Marion County, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004.

Born Aug. 28, 1914, in Clay County, he was the son of Ezra and Maggie (Laughlin) Brewer, both deceased. He married his wife, Mary, on Oct. 25, 1936; she preceded him in death.

Mr. Brewer was a 1933 graduate of Bowling Green High School. He was a Pike Township farmer for many years, a charter member of the Pike Township Volunteer Fire Department, and manager of Traders Point Indiana Farm Bureau CO-OP for 23 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, and a member of Traders Point Christian Church.

Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center in Zionsville. Entombment will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
