Edward Earl Bigelow Sr., 66, of Morristown, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. Born Oct. 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Clifford and Alberta (Kindler) Bigelow; his mother, a Knightstown resident, survives. Mr. Bigelow was a 1954 graduate of Manual High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had been employed as an auto mechanic. Survivors in addition to his mother include two sons, Edward Jr. and Brian Bigelow, both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Cynthia Ann Berry of Grove City, Ohio, and Kathy Bigelow of Indianapolis; one brother, John Bigelow of Downers Grove, Ill.; one sister, Ann Grund of Knightstown; and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Todd Funeral Home, Butcher Chapel in Knightstown, with the Rev. Bill Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
