Malinda (Brewer) Wright whom he married in 1882 and 2 bros. Serv. at Union Chapel by S.F. Harter and Bro. Osborn. Bur. in the Union Cem. (Do not find him at Union ). He had neuralgia of the heart. (Mar. rec. lists him m. Aug. 21,1883).

        WRIGHT, Caroline S., b. May 28,1836 in Delaware Co. OH the d/o Aaron and Betsy A. Shaw. Died Oct. 14, 1893 at Farmland, lnd. ae 57y 4m 24d. On 5ept.18 1853 she m. Edwin E. Retter of Dayton, OH. Res. of Winchester, Ind. He d. May 28,1869, they had 3 children: Elda Vista, Cora Eliz., George E. Only Geo. survives. On Dec. 16, 1880 she m. Samuel Wright, he d. Dec. 25, 1887 in a gas explosion. Another rec. lists her death as Oct. 13, 1893 of Gland infection. She was b. in OH. Surv. 1 son and 4 sis. Fun. at Farmland res. with Rev. John A. Moorman in charge. Bur. in the Maxville Cem. Another obit in the paper of Oct. 18, 1893; Caroline S. wid./o Samuel Wight d. Dec. 27,1892 at Modoc of Typhoid Fever (seems to be the obit of Samuel Wright) as he was the s/o Hicks K. and Sarah (Stephen) Wright. They were b. in Md. Wm. G. was b. in Ind. He was 54yrs. of age.         WRIGHT, Joseph, Living on the Asa Teal farm south of Winch. He was crushed by caving in of a gravel pit on the Henry Oyler's farm last Thurs. He d. of a crushed chest and pneumonia. He was 42yrs. of age. He d. Oct. 2,1893 the s/o Samuel b. in Md and Mary(Drill or Prill?). He moved here from Darke Co. OH last Spring. Res. in White River twp

He was in the Civil War Aug. 11, 1862. Bur. in the Woodlawn Cem. Surv. are 3 chlldren, 4 sis and 3 bros

----------Florence L. (Wickersham) Wright, wife of J. L. Wright, was born in Randolph Co., Ind. Feb. 21, 1863, and died at her home, 4 miles north of Dunkirk, Jay County, Ind., Oct. 22, 1886, aged 23 years, 8 months, and 1 day.
        She was converted and joined the M. E. church, at the age of 13.
She was a devoted and exemplary wife, a tender and loving mother and sister. She leaves a husband and small children, father, step-mother, three sisters, two half-brothers, and a large circle of friends to mourn her early death. Her remains were interred in Camden Cemetery, mid the tears of a large concourse of people who circled her grave.
