Civil War Veteran Dead
----------
          Tipton Winship, seventy-nine, a soldier of the civil war, died at his home in Farmland Thursday night of a long illness of cancer. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Will Denton and Mrs. Oscar Denton. His wife died last June. Funeral sevices at the Maxwell church Monday afternoon, the Rev. Alfred Addington officiating.

Winship Child Dies of
Heart Trouble Monday
----------
          Wanza Winship, the two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winship, died Monday of heart trouble.
Short services were held at the home on South West street, Tuesday morning, and the body was taken to Garrett, Illinois, where the funeral was held Wednesday.
