        WILCOX, John, b. Aug. 1, 1818 in Preble Co. OH - d. May 23, 1888 age 69y. On July 16, 1840 he m. Sophia Coble, they had 8 children, 4 are dec'd. One dt. m. John Henry Butler, of Huntsville, Ind and a dt. is now living in Neb., a son moved to Kansas and one son res. Monroe Co. IA. Some years ago the deceased moved to Ia.. from West River twp. R.C. He was a mem. of the Christian church.
