        Isabelle Watkin, daughter of Elias and Mary A. Davison, was born in Randolph county, Indiana, June 24th, 1851, and departed this life February 11th, 1905. Aged 53 years, 7 months and 19 days. She was united in marriage to Benjamin M. Watkin, December 24th, 1873. To this union were born six daughters and seven sons, Clarence, and Mary preceding her to the spirit world in infancy. When young she joined the M. E. church. Her last words while conscious of her surroundings, and only a short time before her death were, "glory to God." She leaves an aged mother, one brother, husband, five daughters and six sons, nine grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
        Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John L. Kittrell at Poplar Run church Monday February 13, after which the remains were interred in Poplar Run cemetery.
