        WALTZ, David, d. at the home of A.D. Marsh N. of Winch. He came here in 1859. Born Feb. 25, 1817 at Lebanon PA., d. May 31, 1892 of La Grippe age 76 yrs. On Apr. 21,1839 he m. Elizabeth Schreckengost and moved to Ind. Serv. from the German Church (in English). He was converted Jan. 23, 1838 by Rev. Speickler. A Rev. Waltx (Waltz?) in charge of fun. serv. Surv. are the widow and 7 living children. Burial in the old Winch. Cem. Living children are: Kate; Martin; Leah; Samuel; Llizzie; Rebecca; Sallie. 3 are dec'd. Caroline, Mary and John Adam.
