Mable R. Thomas, 89

PARKER CITY - Mable Richardson Thomas, 89, Parker Health Care, Parker City, IN, passed away Tuesday, March 16. She was born in Garland, Tipton County, Tennessee to Stanton and Sally (Gilliam) Richardson. She belonged of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a former restaurant owner and operator.
          Survivors include, son, John Smith; daughters, Mrs. Jean Connelly; and Mrs. Mae Ruth Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and one son.
          Services will be Monday, March 22, 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. There will be no calling hours. Internment will be at Beech Grove Cemetery. Funeral Services are entrusted to Faulkner Mortuary.

Another son John I. m. Julia Chenoweth Sept. 15, 1877, he d. Sept. 25, 1891 of Typhoid Fever age 40 yrs. They res. West Riv. Twp. Death rec. lists her as 61yrs of age b. in Va.

          THOMAS, James A., s/o Joseph and Lucy (Atklnson) b. July 25, 1863-d. June 14, 1888 age 24yrs. On Oct. 10, 1886 he m. Nora E. Gaddis of Modoc, Ind. The d/o EIisha and Lida (Macy) Gaddis. His health failed and he moved to Tenn., but came back. Bur. at the Salem Cem. (see Obit of Lucy Thomas).
