WINCHESTER-
Charles Richard Stockdale, 83, 612 E. Washington St., died Wednesday in Bradenton, Fla., where he was spending the winter. A native of Darke County, Ohio, he was a former school teacher, minister and farmer. He was a member of the Brethren Church in Union City.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille; six sons, Ezra, Marionville, Ohio, Emerson, Union, Ohio, Larkin, Fort Wayne, Paul, Springfield, Ohio, Raymond, Tucson, Ariz., and Yale, Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Theodora Hall, Laura, Ohio, and Mrs. Betty Sparks, West Milton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Brethren Church in Union City with Rev. Owen Preston officiating. Burial will be in Brethren Cemetery. Friends may call at Brooks and Son Funeral Home between 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and at the church one hour prior to services.
