The Farmland EnterpriseObituary –- Milton Smullen, son of Randolph and Mary Smullen, was born in Randolph county, Ind. July 7, 1831. He was the youngest of nine children and is the last one of the family to depart this life. He was married in 1854 to Susanna Kegerreis. His entire life was spent on the farm where he was born. He was the father of eight children – four sons and four daughters. One son and one daughter preceded him to the other world. He departed this life June 14, 1904, at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 7 days.

Funeral services were held in the Locust Grove M. E. church, under direction of the pastor. Interment at Union cemetery.
