          SLICK, Jacob, b. at Bedford Co. Pa. Nov. 15, 1824. His parents emigrated to Montgomery. Co. OH in 1832 and then to R.C. in 1849. He m. Martha Hart Nov 28,1851 of Spartansburg, R.C. He donated land to the U.B. Church in the N.E. part of the county. He d. Dec. 28, 1886 at his res.at Ridgeville, Ind at the age of 63yrs. Prob. bur. Ridgeville.
