Forrest "Bud" Skinner, 83
----------
          Forrest "Bud" Skinner, 83, of 3102 Ohio 502, Greenville, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon March 22, 2004 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. He was born December 8, 1920 in Winchester, IN son of the late Lelbourn R. & Leona Juanita (Jones) Skinner.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Larry Eugene Skinner on Oct. 14, 1981, and 2 brothers, Kenneth and Cecil Skinner.
          Mr. Skinner had worked as a professional butcher at Val Decker Meats in Piqua, OH for 8 years and was a local painting contractor for 46 years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII with the 253rd Infantry Regiment in Central Europe. An avid hunter and fisherman, Mr. Skinner also enjoyed piloting small aircraft. he was a member of the AmericanLegion post #140 in Greenville.
          He is survived by his wife Fay (Kaufman) Skinner whom he married November 22, 1939; a son Richard and wife Barbara Skinner of Greenville, OH; 2 daughters Kay White of Laramie, Wyoming; Marsha and husband John Gibbons of Phoenix, AZ; 6 Grandchildren, Richard E. Skinner, Julie Skinner, David Null, Kimberly White, Buckley White and Kaycee Gibbons; 3 Great Grandchildren, Katelyn, Kyle and Brayden; a brother, Junior Skinner of Farmland, IN; a sister-in-law Doris Skinner of Piqua, OH and 3 nieces.
          Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2004 at the Oliver Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH with the Rev. Dale Boeger officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday March 25, 2004 form 5-7 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services on Friday.

Surv. are 5 children, 3 bros and 2 sis., and an 84yr. old father. Fun. in the Arba Church. bur. in nearby Cem. Rev. Wm. Cox.
