          SHOOK, John C., b. Apr. 4, 1839 in Green Co., OH s/o Aaron Shook. He joined the M.E. Church in 1850 but later became a Quaker. He d. Dec.12 or 13 in Winch. of Typhoid Fever at the age of 53y 8m 9d. Surv. are the wf. and 3 sons,1 child is dec'd. One rec. lIsts burial as New Dayton and another Maxville.
