          SEMANS, Solomon W., brought to Farmland, lnd. Mon. Feb. 20, 1888 for burial in the Maxville Cem. Fun. by Rev.H.J. Lowell of Dunkirk, Ind. He d. Feb. 18, 1888 being 88 yrs of age. Came to this county in 1825 and settled. He m. Hettie Ann Mclntire, Jan. 22, 1836, they had 7 children, mem. of the M.E. Church. He moved to Dunkirk in 1880.
