PICKETT, Mary,
b. Orange Co. N.C. June 23, 1818 the d/o Wm. and Sarah Pike d. Mar. 25, 1894 ae 80y 9m 2d. They had 10 children, 6 sons and 4 dts. She m. John Pickett Sept. 16, 1830 in N.C. The Picketts are bur. at Jericho Cem. Quaker rec. lists Mary b. June 23,1814. Their children were: Nathan (b.1831), Wm. P. (b. 1832), Nancy (b.1834), Clarkson (b.1837), Louisa (b. 1840), Edith (b.1843), Ruth D. (b. 1848), Robert B. (b.1853) and T. Chalkey (b.1858); see above.

PICKETT, William C.,
d. suddenly last Sun. May 31,1885 ae 84y. A Pioneer of this county. His wf. sleeping beside him waked up and found him dead, thought he was sleeping. He was b. Jan. 27, 1802 s/o John and Rebecca (Woody). On Mar. 1,1826 he m. Sarah Ann White, they had 12 children, viz.: William (b. N.C.), Esther (b.1827), Mahlon (b.1829), Hannah (b.1831), Alfred (b.1833), John W. (b.1835), Joel (b.1838), Asenath (b.1840), Lydia (b.1843), Rebecca (b.1846). Sarah and Mary (twins) b.1850), John and Alfred died in the Civil War.They were b. at Jericho, mem. of the White River Friends Church.

wf/o T. Chalkley who she m. Nov. 1, 1879. She was b. July 1, 1858 d/o the late John and Rachel (Mendenhall) North. Her husband b. Apr. 5, 1858 the s/o John and Mary Pike, died Dec. 28, 1882. She d. Oct. 22, 1882 ae 24y 3m 1d. She had consumption. Her husband was 27y 8m 3d.
