The Gospel MessengerPHILLIPS.--In the Camden church, Jay County Indiana, October, 1900, Sister Hannah, wife of David Phillips, deceased, aged 77 years and 2 months. She was born in Bath County, Kentucky, Aug 4, 1823. She was the mother of eight children, three of whom, with her husband, a minister, preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren for thirty years. Services by Calvin F. Erler.

A Randolph County Area NewspaperPHILLIPS, Rebecca (Hammitt), b. Burlington Co. N.J. Sept. 11, 1792-d. at Bloomingport, R.C. Ind. Oct. 10, 1886 ae 94y 29d. She m. Thos. Philips and moved to Warren Co. OH, but came back to R.C. 2 yrs. later. They had 9 children, mentions one son N.J. Phillips who was a preacher at Kendallville Ind. She was a mem. of the M.E. Church for 70yrs.
