        MORGAN Oliver P., Funeral of Mr. Morgan who was murdered near Lynn on Rd. 36 was attended by over 100 vehicles and about 8 miles long. Serv. by Rev. J.B. Ludwig and Rev. G.W. Bowen.

        MORGAN Hannah, b. Sept.21,1800 in Rand. Co. N.C. the wf/o Micajah Morgan. She came to Wayne Co. with her parents in 1812 and res. 2 mi. S. of Arba. Came to R.C. in 1869 to live with her son, Robert Morgan. He died and she moved to her son, George T. Morgan. She d. July 25. 1887 ae 86y 10m 4d. Bur. at Arba.
