WARD  TOWNSHIP
TRUSTEE,  DIES

        Charles J. Mock, 63, trustee of Ward township and a resident of two miles east of Ridgeville, died at 1 p.m.  Thursday at the Jay County hospital in Portland.
        Born in Saratoga, he was a life-long Randolph county resident.  His wife, Irene, died in May 1960.
        Survivors include four sons, Capt. Robert Mock, stationed with the Air Force in Germany;  Lowell, Ridgeville;  Don, Muncie, and  Evan, at home; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Mock, Saratoga; five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bach, Detroit,  Mrs. Blanche Miller, Phoenix, Ariz.,  Mrs. Alma Fraze,  Mrs. Mary Fraze, both of Saratoga, and  Mrs. Esther Campbell, Winchester.
        Mr. Mock was a member of the Doric Lodge 362, F&AM.  He was a veteran of World War I.

        Mrs. Irene Mock, 60, who resided two miles east of Ridgeville, died Thursday at the Grandview hospital, Dayton, Ohio, following an extended illness.  She was the wife of  Charles Mock, trustee of Ward township.
        Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons,  Capt. Robert L. Mock, Air Force in Germany,  Lowell, Ridgeville,  Donald, Muncie and  Evan, Winchester; five grandchildren; a brother Pleasant Baker, Selma, and a sister,  Mrs. Russell Conklin, Winchester.
