Died – Corrintha Virginia Reeves was born June 18th 1847, in Sullivan, Ashland county, Ohio, and departed this life August 10th, 1888, aged 41 years, 1 month and 23 days.
She removed to Indiana with her parents when just two years of age. Her mother died when she was six years old. She was married to Abram Life, August 22, 1867, and was the mother of two children – a son and a daughter. She never joined any church, but in her latter days she lived a happy christian life, and said she was prepared to meet her God in peace, and wanted her husband and children to meet her in heaven. Mrs. Life bore her suffering with christian patience. She leaves a father, two sisters, husband, two children, and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her departure, but our loss is her gain.
The funeral services were held at Fairview M. E. Church, conducted by I. V. D. R. Johnson, after which the body was laid away to await the resurrection.
Brother Life and family have the sympathy of their many friends.
