        LEGGETT, Rachel McAfee, b. Greensburg, Westmoreland Co. Pa. Jan. 19, 1819. Moved with parents to Harrison Co. OH near Hanover when she was young, living there until married to John D. Leggett which occured at her father's house June 22, 183?. About 1 yr later she moved to New Hagerstown, OH, then to Scio, OH for 4 yrs. She was the mother of 8 children 3 dts.,and 5 sons, 1 dt and 4 sons are dec'd. She was the d/o James and Mary(Wible) Marsfold or Massfoie? Death rec. d. Aug.13,1891 ae 78y, b. Pa. a wid/o J.D. (R. Leggett, possibly bur. Fountain Pk. Cem.).
