AGED MAN DIES AT LYNN HOME
----------
          Uriah Hinshaw, 82, died early Tuesday morning at his home in Lynn, after a long illness. He is survived by the widow, one daughter, Mrs. William Hiatt of Morgantown, two sons, Arley of Lynn, Kelley of New Madison, Ohio, and a brother, J.E. Hinshaw of this city.
          Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 o’clock at the Buena Vista church and burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Surv. are the husband and 4 children, father, mother. 1 bro. and 1 sis. Fun. at Mt. Pleasant by Ira Johnson. (Death Rec. died of Ulceration of the stomach.

Surv. are the husband and 5 children, father, mother,1 sis and 1 bro. Bur. Mt Zion Cem. (Death Rec. lists her as "Nellie" Cause of death was inflamation of the stomach and bowels.

          Mrs. Nancy (Bookout) Hinshaw  d. 1/5/1882 at the res. of a son  Jacob B. in Wash. Twp. Rand. Co. She was 82y 20d.  Born Nancy Bookout in Randolph Co., N.C. 12/15/1799.  She married Abel Hinshaw 10/13/1818. They came to Clinton Co., OH in the fall of 1830 where they remained 3˝ yrs. then to Randolph Co. Her husband died 5 or 6 yrs. ago. They had 11 ch. 8 sons 3 dts. 1 dec'd. 81 grch., 65 living, 48 grgrch. 45 living. Services at Mt. Zion Church.
