        HELMS Eva, b. May. 29, 1857 d/o William (b. N.C.) and Christena (Bowers) Greer (b. Pa). She m. Geo. Helms Sept. 25,1873. They had 5 sons. She d. Nov. 28, 1893 ae 39y 5m 25d of Typhoid Fever. Only ill 17 weeks. Fun. at the Maxville M.E. Church, bur nearby cem. Res. in Winch.
